Contingent workers may create accidental employer obligations 

Contingent workers such as contractors, freelancers and “temps”  are now common in many workplaces.  This may create accidental employer obligations.  As a safety consultant, you'll want to familiarize yourself on the topic so you can discuss with clients when asked.
